MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 14, 2013--
Molina Healthcare, Inc. (NYSE:MOH) today announced that the Florida
Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) has awarded to Molina
Healthcare of Florida, Inc., contracts in three regions under the
Statewide Medicaid Managed Care Long-Term Care (SMMC LTC) program. The
three regions awarded are Regions 5, 6, and 11, which encompass Pasco,
Pinellas, Hillsborough, Polk, Manatee, Hardee, Highland, Miami-Dade, and
Monroe counties. As a result of the awards, Molina will now enter into a
comprehensive pre-contracting assessment, with the program currently
scheduled to commence on December 1, 2013. Under the program, Molina
Healthcare of Florida will provide long-term care benefits, including
institutional and home and community-based services.
